Hi, my name is Nicola.  I am married to Simon and mummy to Ruby and Henry.  I have developed my passion for baking into this business to share with you.

I graduated (many years ago) with a BA(Hons) in Hotel Business Management.  I developed in hotels, catering and retail for many years, working for Swallow Hotels, Marriott International, Scottish & Newcastle, Footlocker and iCandy.  I have also run my own pub in South Cambridgeshire.  My current 'job', mum, has been my most challenging!

I have always enjoyed baking from an early age and my favourite subject at school was Home Economics.  My first decorated Christmas cake was a winner in the school competition when I was 12.  Although I have worked within many catering establishments, none were in the baked goods category and all of my skills have been self taught.

Since becoming a mum, my love of baking has grown.  I'm often passing on my 'trial bakes' to friends and family - we can't possibly eat it all!!

I decided to start this business, and share my passion, when a cake was collected and the (almost) 4 year old threw her arms around me and told me she loved her cake.  This gave me the incentive to share this joy with others - although I don’t get to see the reactions of all the recipients.

So, this is me, growing and learning with each and every cake that is ordered.
